The apartment was comfortable with spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Lovely linen and plush towels. Convenient door pin code access, no need to worry about keys. Great location with an espresso cafe nearby. Cool aesthetic, will definitely return!
Nothing for me.

The location is fantasic - right in the heart of Dunedin city! The apartment has all the facilities to really relax and feel at home for either a short or long term term stay. Great value for such a comfortable, modern fit out! Love the way they have built the aprtments into the church - we had views through from our windows to the high arching ceilings and stained glass windows.

Jon at the Chapel Apartments is a really helpful host. Great recommendations for restaurants in the neighbourhood. The apartment is well outfitted and is just as advertised. A great stop in Dunedin.
There could be more cooking equipment (pots pans etc) in the kitchen.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was superb, right in the center of town and within walking distance to all the attractions, restaurants, and cafes. What made this place even more unique was that it was housed in a beautifully renovated church, adding an extra touch of charm to our stay. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfy, and having a fully fitted kitchen was a great convenience. We especially appreciated the air conditioning and heating, ensuring that we were always at the perfect temperature. The room was spacious and had a cozy sitting area and a dining table, giving us plenty of space to relax and enjoy our meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The free toiletries and the availability of laundry facilities were also a nice touch.
We highly recommend this hotel to others.

Location excellent. Facilities were new, clean and tidy
The internal nature of the building. It had no connection to the outside. No windows that opened for fresh air. The stairs were steep to the upper floor with no information that this was the case for those with disability. The bedrooms were small and the bathrooms too small. The web picture gave the impression of being luxurious but this was not the case

The two bedroom apartment had comfortable beds and spacious rooms with ample cupboard space. The lounge area and kitchen were well equipped with private laundry facilities. The location was convenient with mini markets and bars/cafes within walking distance. On-site parking was available across the street. The hotel had a unique and impressive interior with exposed pillars from the original church.

The space; ensuites in each bedroom; comfort; facilities; superb showers; ambience weas great
TV wasn't that easy to transverse... changing channels was problematic. service of ceramic hot plates was extremely marked/diorty and would have upgraded the whole kitchen if it was cared for with the correct equipment a nd cleaning products.

The location of this hotel was spot on! It's just a short walk from all the best bars, restaurants, and shops. We loved that we could explore the city on foot and not have to worry about driving. the rooms were also very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We slept like a dream! Plus, the free Wi-Fi was a bonus and made it easy for us to stay connected with friends and family.
We did have some issues with the parking situation and the reception staff could have been more attentive to our needs.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom loft style apartment, it was amazing! So close to the city centre and some great restaurants. The times I had to call Jon he was very polite and helpful.
The spiral staircase proved a little annoying with a 2 year old.

Funky design, lovely renovation. Felt like staying in a lovely loft rather than in a hotel. Parking outside the door was great. Nice kitchen and lounge
The bed was very soft and pushed against a wall, so very hard to get out for the person on the inside. Also, for that person, there was no reading light and nowhere to put a book or watch etc, It seemed to have been designed for one person, not a couple. The shower screens don't work so the whole bathroom floor gets very wet every time and the basin leaks.

The location of the accommodation was pretty good, as I was able to walk to most places around the city. It was in the centre, closer to some good restaurants, and well connected. It was comfortable and quite spacious.
Unfortunately some of the basic amenities like a working lock on the main door and fire exit lights not functioning properly made me feel a bit uneasy staying there.

A unique building tastefully converted. Well appointed.
Have to make cell phone call to contact proprietor but he is very responsive, just seemed strange to arrive at an 'empty' building to start with
